Riehl melanosis เป็นรูปแบบหนึ่งของโรคผิวหนังอักเสบจากการสัมผัส โดยเริ่มจากอาการคัน ผื่นแดง และเม็ดสีที่ค่อยๆ กระจายออกไป ซึ่งเมื่อถึงระดับหนึ่งแล้วจะหยุดนิ่ง การสัมผัสแสงแดดหลังการใช้น้ำหอมหรือครีมบางชนิดอาจเป็นสาเหตุของโรคได้
